Topic:       Leaves of Absence for Employees-A Refresher  This presentation will address the many protected leaves that employees working in Colorado enjoy depending on their circumstances. It will also delve into the problematic issues employers often face when an employee is not yet eligible for a protected leave or has exhaused a protected leave. Participants will learn about tips for managing employee leave and staying proactive while the employee is out.  While compliance and litigation avoidance are paramount, the topic will aslo include a discussion on maintaining positive employee relations while administering leaves.

Meal:        Southwest Salad, Rice Pilaf, Sauteed Broccolini, BBQ Pulled Pork, Strawberry Shortcake
